We are currently recruiting for a Chill Operative at our Manchester Site. As a Chill Operative, you will operate chill trolley packers and chill shrink wrappers, manually pack milk into trolleys, move full trolleys and empty trolleys across the chill.

Your challenge

In this role the key responsibilities will include:

• Manually pack product into trolleys, ensuring product is fit for purpose and highlighting any non-conformance with minimal downtime

• Transport full and empty trolleys across the chill

• Operate RCP and complete asset care/deep cleaning on equipment

• Operate shrink wrapper and complete asset care/deep cleaning on equipment

• Ensure good manufacturing, housekeeping, hygiene, and health and safety standards throughout their shift

• Part of an effective hand over between shifts, remaining within the chill until a relief takes over

• Complete all documentation, ensuring up to date and available

• Lead by example encouraging appropriate behavioural safety and technical standards in support of Company values and culture

• Previous manual packing work desirable, though not necessary
